Final Blog Blunder - Reflection and Feedback



Upon reflection, i believe the my final blog blunder should have been my first - understanding what
e-learning is:

e - ENGAGEMENT
L - LEARNING
E - ENVIRONMENTS
A - ANYTHING, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE
R - REFLECTIVE, RESPONSIBLE LEARNERS
N - NETWORKING
I - INTERNATIONALLY
N - NO BOUNDARIES
G - GLOBAL & LOCAL COMMUNITIES

I-Learn - I am responsible for my own learning:

  1. How do i learn best?
  2. What skills do i need?
  3. How do i contribute to 21st Century learning communities?
I learn best when i am engaged, and challenged to learn - with the necessary resources needed to complete and compete in learning. Having just completed a Mathematics 5-8 Project, the students involved made it fully aware to me that they wished to be:
  1. Motivated
  2. Challenged
  3. Use technology
  4. Be risk takers
Being an ilearner in an elearning world is the education of the future - we as teachers need to meet the needs and wants of our students in the classroom. We cannot use the excuse:
